Creating Better Futures Using Humor - Disaster Risk Financing in Afghanistan

The World Bank’s Disaster Risk Financing and Insurance Program held a workshop with the Government of Afghanistan to support the development of a risk financing project. Part of the workshop consisted of a cartoonathon where participants used cartoons to illuminate project design challenges, as well as see custom cartoons created in real-time that illustrate what can go wrong. Using humor, the cartoonathon helped to build relationships, engagement, and creativity.
