Kirstie Méheux

Kirstie Méheux is a Capacity Building Advisor in the Crisis and Disaster Risk Finance Unit at the World Bank. She works primarily on the PCRAFI Program developing learning resources to build disaster risk finance capacity in Pacific islands.

Kirstie has previously worked with both the Pacific Community and Australian Red Cross developing and delivering a variety of disaster risk management related training programs from psychological first aid to post-disaster damage and needs assessments. She completed a Masters degree in Disaster Risk Management at Coventry University in the UK and holds a PhD in Geography from Macquarie University, Australia.
