Lucas Herzog

Lucas Herzog has been working as a Financial Sector Consultant at the World Bank since 2019 in the Finance, Competitiveness, and Investment team in Eastern and Southern Africa and in the Middle East and North Africa. He supports Governments with operations and technical assistance on disaster risk finance, financial inclusion, MSMEs finance and capital markets. Since 2023, he has been implementing the Regional Emergency Preparedness and Access to Inclusive Recovery (REPAIR) Program to enhance the financial and operational preparedness of African countries to respond quickly to climate shocks. He graduated in Finance and Economic Public Policy.
